I’ve been working on Fruit Bowl kids snacks ad campaigns for a while but I was thrilled to be asked to become their social media manager as well.
Starting in January, the brand strategist wanted to go down a different route. She felt that mumstagram had become full of fake perfection, and wanted to make Fruit Bowls social media feel funny, honest and real. Reflecting the reality of parenting, rather than perfect shots of beige Montessori playrooms and expensive neutral clothing which are commonly seen on Instagram.
We set to work hiring some of the biggest ‘real parenting’ influencers in the game, and created some of our own content – filming the realities of our own families as well.
I worked with Fruit Bowl from January – October 2023, as their parent company got bought.
During that time I grew the account from:
- 8000 Instagram followers in February to 9265 in October.
- A brand new Tik Tok account in January to 7247 in October.
